A Meridian Township Headlee Restoration Tax measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the township of Meridian, which is in Ingham County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 7,333 (48.69%)
  • NO 7,727 (51.31%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to restore the headlee tax amount to 5 mills for up to six years. The current levy was 4.2 mills and a majority yes vote would have restored the full 5 mill amount. Maintaining the current level of services and operations in the township was the main purpose of seeking the full 5 mill levy amount.[2]
