Michael Assad was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of New Jersey. He was defeated in the primary.[1]

Biography

Assad is a school board member and political science student.[2]

Assad ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent New Jersey's 2nd District. He sought the nomination on the Republican ticket,[4] and lost to incumbent Frank LoBiondo in the June 5 Republican primary.[1][5]
