Michael Beard (b. July 22, 1953) is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 55A. He was first elected to the chamber in 2002. Beard is a former Assistant Minority Whip.

Beard served on the Minnesota Regional Transit Board from 1993 to 1995, and the Shakopee City Council from 1991 to 1995.

Biography

Beard's professional experience includes working as the publisher of the Minnesota Christian Chronicle, and Owner/Operator of the Macalester Park Public Company from 1987 to 1995.[1]
