Michael Comstock was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 34 of the Montana State Senate.[1]

Comstock was a Republican candidate for District 32 of the Montana State Senate.[1] The primary election was on June 8, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Comstock switched parties from Republican to Democratic by filing to run as a Democrat in the 2012 elections.[1] He said that he is "running as a Democrat so he can change the 'would-be communists' from within".[1]

Comstock ran in the 2012 election for Montana State Senate, District 34. Comstock ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by Scott Sales (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
