Michael G. Connelly (b. June 8, 1940) is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 48th District since his election in 2008.

Connelly won re-election to the 48th District seat against Democrat Barbara Green.[1] He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on February 2nd. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.


On November 4, 2008, Republican Michael Connelly won re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives District 48 receiving 29,649 votes, ahead of Democrat Joseph Heneghan who received 21,404 votes.[2]
