Michael Fitzpatrick is a Republican member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 7 since 2003.

Fitzpatrick's professional experience is as an investment associate for UBS Financial Services Incorporated, Port Jefferson Branch Office.

Fitzpatrick earned a BA in business administration from Saint Michael's College. He and his wife, Lorena, have two children, Corina and Michael.[1]

Fitzpatrick ran unopposed in the September 14 Re primary. He faced Richard Macellaro (D) in the general election on November 2. In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, Macellaro is also running on the Working Familes ticket.

On November 4, 2008 Michael Fizpatrick won re-election to the New York State Assembly, District 7, defeating opponent Allen Huggins (D).
