Michael Kearns is a Republican candidate in the March 20, 2012 special election for the New York State Assembly, District 145. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Mark Schroeder (D) resigned after being elected Buffalo City comptroller.[1]

Kearns faces Christopher Fahey (D) in the March 20, 2012 special election. Kearns is also running on the Independence Party ticket. Fahey is also running on the Working Family and Conservative Party tickets.[2]
