Michael J. Marcello (b. May 30, 1968) is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 41. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008.

Marcello earned his BA in Government from Colby College in 1990. He went on to receive his JD from The American University - Washington College of Law in 1994.

After earning his law degree, Marcello began working as an attorney. He has worked as Partner of Morrison Mahoney, Limited Liability Partnership since 1996.

Marcello served as a Councilmember for the Town of Scituate from 1996 to 1998 and again from 2000 to 2008. In 2006, he was a candidate for the Rhode Island House of Representatives but was not elected.

Marcello won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 41. Marcello was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and defeated Marco Lucci (R) and Lee Grossguth (I) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Marcello won re-election to the 41st District Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary and defeated Republican Marco Lucci in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2][3]
