Michael Mauldin was a Republican candidate for District 13 in the Texas State Senate in the November 2, 2010 state legislative elections.

Mauldin has worked in the financial sector as an investment realitor. He has used his experience to help victims of predatory lenders and, today, works to help families affected by the recession.

Mauldin was the Republican candidate who ran for election to the District 13 Seat in 2010. He faced no primary opposition. He was defeated by Rodney Ellis (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[1]

Personal

Mauldin and his wife, Meredith, have a baby girl. They are members of New Life Church, where Meredith leads worship.
