Michael McDermott is a Libertarian candidate for Governor of New York in the 2014 elections.[1]

McDermott was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of New York. He was defeated by Steve Israel on November 6, 2012.[2]

According to his website, McDermott worked as a real estate broker and developer from 2001 to 2008.[1]
