Michael McDermott was a Libertarian candidate for Governor of New York in the 2014 elections.[1] Michael McDermott lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

McDermott was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of New York. He was defeated by Steve Israel on November 6, 2012.[2]

According to his website, McDermott worked as a real estate broker and developer from 2001 to 2008.[1]

McDermott ran for election to the office of Governor of New York. McDermott won the Libertarian nomination at the state convention on April 26. The general election took place November 4, 2014.[1][3]

McDermott ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent New York's 3rd District. He sought the nomination on the Libertarian ticket.[4] He was defeated by Steve Israel on November 6, 2012.[5]
