Michael Peifer is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 139.

Peifer earned his BS in Accounting from Rider College in 1990. His professional experience includes his work in the following positions: Senior Tax Consultant for Price Waterhouse, Limited Liability Partnership, founder of Michael T. Peifer, Certified Professional Accountant, and Certified Public Accountant.

Peifer served as Treasurer of Pike County from 1999 to 2006. He then joined the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2007. He has served in that position since, representing the 139th District.
