Michael Ramone is a Republican member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing the 21st District since 2008.

Ramone is the owner of Aquatic Management Systems, as well as BC Communities, and is Chief Executive Officer of Delaware Swim and Fitness.

He is the coach of the Delaware Swim Team.[1]

  • HB 172 - "requires that a person elected to a state office or appointed to fill a vacancy in an elective state office, or who has filed as a candidate for an elective state office disclose the name and address of every nonprofit organization, civic association, community association, foundation, maintenance organization, or trade group incorporated in the State or having activities in the State, or both, of which the person is a council member or board member."
  • HB 214 - "reduces the number of New Castle County Council members from 13 to 7. There would be 6 members elected from districts, and 1 member elected as County Council President from the County at-large."

Ramone ran in the 2012 election for Delaware House of Representatives District 21. Ramone ran unopposed in the Republican primary on September 11, 2012 and was unchallenged in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]

On November 4, 2008, Ramone won election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 21st District, defeating Patricia Creedon (D). Ramone received 5,474 votes in the election while Creedon received 4,454 votes.[4] Ramone raised $38,525 for his campaign; Creedon raised $62,474.[5]
