Michael Rodrigues (b. May 30, 1959) is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate, representing the First Bristol and Plymouth district. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Rodrigues served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the Eighth Bristol District from 1996 to 2011. He has served as a member of the Westport Democratic Town Committee, Massachusetts Legislators Association, and the State Workforce Investment Board.


Rodrigues earned his B.S. from Southeastern Massachusetts University. His professional experience includes working as President and Treasurer of ABC Floor Covering.

Rodrigues won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts State Senate First Bristol and Plymouth District. Rodrigues defeated David P. Meade, Jr. in the September 6 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Rodrigues won election to the First Bristol and Plymouth Seat in 2010. He defeated Lorne Lawless, John Mitchell and Michael Coogan in the September 14 Democratic primary. He defeated Derek Maksy in the general election on November 2, 2010.
