Michael Rush is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate, representing the Suffolk and Norfolk Seat. He represented the Tenth Suffolk in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 2003-2011.

Rush is a history teacher and a US Navy Reserve Officer.

Rush received his MA and BA from Providence College, and his JD from Southern New England School of Law.
