Michael Shallal is a Republican candidate for District 30 in the Michigan House of Representatives in the August 7, 2012 state legislative elections. Mr. Shallal has entered the race again after he was defeated in the Republican primary on August 3, 2010.

Mr. Shallal is an Iraq war veteran who served more than five tours as a civilian contractor to various locations in the Middle East. On many occasions, during the course of service, he returned home after sustaining battlefield injuries.

During election year 2010, Mr. Shallal founded Michigan Right To Vote Political Action Committee, which later become a National PAC as of 2012. nrtvpac.com

Mr. Shallal currently works as an Operations Manager and Intelligence Analyst for a Fortune 500 Defense Contracting company, while maintaining operation as a president of AMP7 Incorporation, a Michigan based defense consultant. amp7inc.com
