Michael Shmina is a Republican candidate for Michigan House of Representatives in District 32.

A third-generation employee, Shmina works for his family's construction business as a project manager.[1]



Shmina was defeated by incumbent Andrea M. LaFontaine in the Republican primary on August 7.[2]

Shmina and his wife Kim, a nurse practitioner, have two children. He has two step-children.[1]
