The Michigan Homestead Property Tax Amendment, also known as Proposal A, was a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment in Michigan which was defeated on the ballot on November 3, 1992.

Proposal A would have limited annual increases in homestead property tax assessments and provide separate tax limitations for different property classifications.[1]
