The Michigan Legislative Term Limits Amendment did not make the November 6, 2012 statewide ballot in Michigan as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment.

According to reports, the proposal would have allowed lawmakers to serve a total of 14 years in either the House or the Senate. Additionally, the proposal would have amended legislative session to run only from January through June.[1]
