Charles 'Mike' Chenault is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 34th District since 2001. He is currently the Speaker of the House.

Chenault serves as Vice President of the Qwick Construction Company Incorporated.

He is a member of the North Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Board, Elks Club, Moose Lodge, and the North Peninsula Fire Service and Recreational Area.[1]

Issue positions

Chenault did not provide answers to the 2008 Political Courage Test. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Chenault won re-election to the 34th District Seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the August 24 primary.[4] He defeated Ray G. Southwell in the November 2 general election.[5]

In 2008 Chenault was re-elected to the Alaska House of Representatives District 34. Chenault (R) finished with 6,412 votes while his opponent Time Evans (D) finished with 2,408 votes.[6] Chenault raised $48,036 for his campaign fund.[7]
