Mike McRae was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 42 of the Iowa House of Representatives.

McRae ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 42. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012 and was defeated by District 60 incumbent Peter Cownie in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

McRae suspended his campaign on May 14, citing complications from personal injury.[3]
