Mike Newman was a Republican candidate for District 40a, Washington State House of Representatives. The primary election was on August 17, 2010. The state legislative general election was on November 2, 2010.

Mike Newman ran for the Washington State House of Representatives District 40a. He ran against Dusty Gulleson, Chuck Carrell, doug Revelle, Tom Pasma, Thomas Boucher, Justin Van Dyk and Donna Miller in the August 17, 2010 primary. He was defeated by Democrat Kristine Lytton in the November 2, 2010 general election.[1]
