Mike Shirkey is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 65 since January 1, 2011.

Shirkey is the owner of Orbitform, a leading engineering company that manufactures forming, fastening, joining and assembly equipment. Mike also worked for General Motors in various management and engineering roles for 13 years.

Shirkey graduated with a bachelor's degree from General Motors Institute (GMI) in 1978, and from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a master of science in mechanical engineering in 1979.
