Mike Shirkey is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 65. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Biography

Shirkey earned his bachelor's degree from General Motors Institute (GMI) in 1978 and his M.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1979. His professional experience includes working as the owner of Orbitform, an engineering company that manufactures forming, fastening, joining and assembly equipment; and for General Motors in various management and engineering roles.
