Mike Verchio (b. October 23, 1944) is a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 30.

Verchio was a Precinct Man for Hill City Pennington County from 2000 to 2005. He then joined the South Dakota State House of Representatives in 2009. He has served in that position since, representing the 30th District.

Verchio was a Store Manager for Sears from 1979 to 1981, and again from 1984 to 1989. He then worked as Owner/Operator of Continental Cafe and Tin Mill Saloon from 1989 to 2000. Verchio and his wife, Jeri, have two children.

Verchio won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 30. Verchio and fellow incumbent Lance Russell defeated Tim Behlings, Travis L. Bies, and Florence K. Thompson in the Republican primary on June 5. No Democratic candidates filed for election. Verchio and Russell ran unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Verchio ran for re-election to District 30 of the South Dakota House of Representatives. Verchio and Lance Russell (incumbent) both ran unopposed in the June 8 Republican primary. [3] Russell and Verchio defeated Kathleen Ann (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
