Mike Waugh has been a Republican member of the Pennsylvania State Senate since 1999. He currently serves as Majority Caucus Leader. Waugh was re-elected in November of 2010 with his term expiring in 2014. Waugh also served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1993 to 1998.

Waugh attended Penn State-York and the Penn State Fire Academy. Waugh is a former fire fighter and building contractor.
