The Mississippi Hospital Association (MHA) was founded in 1931 and is currently comprised of over 100 hospitals and over 50,000 health care workers. It provides education and helps spread information on health care trends and policy across the state and country.[1] MHA also engages in advocacy activities on the state and federal levels, and is an affiliate of the larger American Hospital Association[2]

Its mission statement is:

"The Mississippi Hospital Association promotes excellence in health services through services in advocacy, education and information."[3]
