The Missouri "Right to Work" Amendment did not appear on the November 2012 ballot in the state of Missouri as an initiated constitutional amendment.

The proposed measure would have banned any contract that required an employee to pay union fees. Additionally, it would ban agreements between business and unions that would make union fees a condition of employment.[1]

According to reports, Greg Johns, vice president of Missourians for Right to Work, planned to file the petition with the Missouri Secretary of State's office in January 2012.[1]

A similar proposal by Sen. Jason Crowell was filed during the 2012 legislative session. The proposal would have required a statewide vote on right-to-work in August 2013.[2]
