Text of amendment
- "An act providing for the year-round observance of Mountain Standard Time throughout the entire state of Montana, including all political subdivisions; exempting the state from observance of Daylight Saving Time; providing that the proposed act be submitted to the qualified electors of Montana; amending Section 30-14-1729, MCA; and providing an effective date."
Path to the ballot
On January 26, 2011, the Senate Business, Labor and Economic Affairs Committee planned a hearing on the measure. The Montana Legislature adjourned without the measure being sent to the ballot.
