Three Electrical Aggregation Questions was on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the designated areas which are in Whiteside County.

All three measures were approved.[1]

These measures sought to allow authorities to aggregate and buy electricity in bulk in order to obtain lower rates for residents if they want to participate in the program. Communities with this measure on their ballot were the cities of Morrison and Sterling as well as the village of Tampico.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the City of Morrison have the authority to arrange for the supply of electricity for its residential and small commercial retail customers who have not opted out of such program?
