Nancy Todd is a Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing the 41st District since 2005 and currently serving as Assistant Minority Leader.

Todd worked as a teacher with Cherry Creek School District 5 from 1970-1973 and 1983-2004. She is currently a member of Children Achieving Reading Excellence, and Literacy Chair of the National Board of American Mothers, Incorporated.[1]

Issue positions

Todd did not provide answers to the Colorado State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Colorado Senate Bill 57

As a member of the Colorado House Education Committee, Todd voted against Colorado Senate Bill 57, also known as the Public School Financial Transparency Act, a bill to create transparency in state education expenditures. Todd received substantial campaign contributions from the [[Sunshinereview:Colorado Education Association|Colorado Education Association]], which lobbied against the bill's passage.[3]
