Nate Willems is a former Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 29 from 2009 to 2013.

Willems is an Attorney with Sole, McManus, Pearson and Willems, P.C.

He is a member of the Lincoln Highway Lisbon Lions Club, Linn County Democratic Central Committee, and the Mount Vernon Athletic Boosters.[1]

Willems ran in the 2012 election for Iowa State Senate District 48. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012 and was defeated by Dan Zumbach (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012. [2][3]
