The National Asssociation of Attorneys General (NAAG) was founded in 1907. Its mission is "To facilitate interaction among Attorneys General as peers and to facilitate the enhanced performance of Attorneys General and their staffs."[1]

In addition to NAAG, which includes attorneys general from both parties, each party has its own partisan association for attorneys general, the Democratic Attorneys General Association and the Republican Attorneys General Association.
