The Nebraska Medical Marijuana Amendment may appear on the 2014 ballot in the state of Nebraska as an initiated constitutional amendment. The measure would allow patients to use, possess, and grow marijuana for medical reasons. The petition was filed by NORML Nebraska on July 17, 2012.[1]

In order to qualify the proposed constitutional amendment, supporters are required to collect valid signatures from a minimum of 10 percent of registered voters. The deadline to submit signatures for the 2014 ballot in Nebraska is July 4, 2014.[2]
