The Nebraska Mountain Lion Hunting Permit Measure did not make the November 2012 ballot in Nebraska as a legislatively-referred state statute.

The proposed measure would allow residents to pay $25 for a chance to win a mountain lion hunting permit in a random drawing.[1]

It was introduced by Sen. LeRoy Louden.

According to reports, the bill was introduced in response to increased mountain lion sightings in the state.[1]
