The Nebraska Revise First-Degree Sexual Assault Initiative did not make the 2012 ballot in the state of Nebraska as an initiated state statute. The proposed measure would revise the conditions under which an individual is guilty of first-degree sexual assault.[1]

In order to qualify the proposed constitutional amendment, supporters were required to collect valid signatures from a minimum of 10 percent of registered voters; more than 115,000 signatures. The deadline to submit signatures for the 2012 ballot in Nebraska was July 6, 2012.[2]
