<p align="justify">''Located near the west coast of the United States, Nevada is nicknamed “the silver state” due to its vital importance of the metal to Nevada’s history and economy. Although Nevada’s capital is Carson City, more than Nevadians inhabit the area in and around the city of Las Vegas. Widely known for its libertarian laws towards marriage, divorce, gambling and prostitution, Nevada has become a major tourist destination in recent years.  Currently, Colorado has two members of the U.S. Senate, a total of four members of the U.S. House of Representatives, 42 members of the Nevada Assembly and 21 members of the Nevada State Senate. As of September 2013, Nevada is one of 13 states that is under divided government and does not have state government trifecta. ''</p></td></tr>

Welcome to Nevada on Ballotpedia!

Located near the west coast of the United States, Nevada is nicknamed “the silver state” due to its vital importance of the metal to Nevada’s history and economy.
