The Nevada attorney general election will take place on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Catherine Cortez Masto (D) was first elected in 2006 and is ineligible to run for re-election due to term limits.

Nevada is one of 12 states to use a strictly closed primary process, in which the selection of a party's candidates in an election is limited to registered party members.[1][2][3] The primary took place June 10, 2014. All candidates were uncontested.[4]
