New Mexico Amendment 3 provided for the recall of elected county officials. It was on the November 5, 1996 election ballot in New Mexico, where it passed.

Amendment 3 was a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment amending the New Mexico Constitution. It was one of seven such measures on the 1996 ballot in the state. All of them passed.

  • No: 132,969 (29%)
