The New Mexico lieutenant gubernatorial election will take place on November 4, 2014. Incumbent John A. Sanchez (R) was first elected in 2010 and is eligible to seek re-election.

New Mexico utilizes a strictly closed primary process, in which the selection of a party's candidates in an election is limited to registered party members.[1][2][3]
