Espinoza is running for re-election to the 59th District Seat in 2010. She will be challenged by the winner of the Democratic primary in the general election which takes place on November 2, 2010.

On November 4, 2008, Espinoza was re-elected to the 59th District Seat in the New Mexico House of Representatives, besting Eellen Wedum (D). [1] Espinoza raised $46,797 for her campaign, while Wedum raised $15,633. [2]
