The North Dakota Number of Signatures Required to Qualify an Initiative for the Ballot Initiative was on the November 4, 1958 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1]

  • Yes: 47,814
  • No: 127,290 Defeatedd

If the measure had passed, it would have increased the number of signatures required to qualify a ballot initiative in North Dakota for the ballot from 20,000 signatures to an amount of signatures equal to 10% of the vote cast for governor at the most recent state general election.
