The 2nd congressional district of Ohio will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 4, 2014.

Ohio has a mostly closed primary system, in which voters must vote in the same party's primary as in the previous election, or register with the other party to switch.

Heading into the election the incumbent is Brad Wenstrup (R), who was first elected in 2012.

Ohio's 2nd Congressional District is located in the southern portion of the state and includes Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Highland, Adams, Scioto, Pike and Ross counties.[1]

2012

The 2nd congressional district of Ohio held an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012. Republican Brad Wenstrup won the election in the district.[3]

2010

On November 2, 2010, Jean Schmidt (R) won re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, defeating Surya Yalamanchili (D) and Libertarian candidate Marc Johnston . [4]
