Four statewide ballot measures were on the November 7, 2006 ballot in the state of Ohio.

  • A total of $43,308,752 was spent, pro and con, on ballot measure campaigns in Ohio in 2006.[1]
  • With four initiatives on the 2006 ballot, the historical total of Ohio initiatives through the 2006 election climbed to seventy-five (75).
  • Of the seventy-five initiatives on the Ohio ballot through 2006, nineteen (19) were approved, and fifty-six (56) defeated.
