Ohio Issue 8 was on the November 3, 1953 ballot in Ohio as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.
A short summary of the ballot question on the ballot said, "To repeal sections which authorized the appointment of three commissioners to revise, reform, simplify, and abridge the practice, pleadings, forms, and proceedings of the courts immediately following the adoption of the Constitution of 1851."
Issue 8 amended Sections 1, 2 and 3 of Article XIV of the Ohio Constitution.
