The 5th congressional district of Oklahoma will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 4, 2014.

Oklahoma is one of 21 states with a mixed primary system. Parties decide who may vote, so an unaffiliated voter must be authorized by a party in order to vote in the primary.[3]

Heading into the election the incumbent is James Lankford (R), who was first elected in 2010.

Oklahoma's 5th Congressional District is located in the central portion of the state and includes Oklahoma, Pottawatomie and Seminole counties.[4]
