Oklahoma voters cast a separate ballot for governor and lieutenant governor. Candidates for governor and lieutenant governor in Oklahoma must conduct separate campaigns.
The current officeholder is Jari Askins.
Qualifications
The lieutenant governor serves a four-year term of office and can serve consecutive terms without limitation.

- a qualified elector of the state for at least 10 years
