The treasurer is responsible for managing the state's money and acts as the state's banker. The office manages that state's investments, disperses state funds as needed, pays off bond interest and loans and administers and keeps track of unclaimed property within the state.
The treasurer is elected every four years.
The current treasurer of Oklahoma is Ken Miller.
