A Olive Township Library Levy Increase measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Olive, which is in Ottawa County.

This measure sought to increase the current library levy by a rate of $.25 per $1,000 of assessed value for a period of three years in order to further pay for library operational costs in the township. It was approved.

Shall Olive Township impose an increase of .25 mills ($.25 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for three (3) years, 2012, 2013, and 2014 inclusive, for library services, raising an estimated $38,892.50 in the first year the millage is levied?[1]
