An Onsted School District Levy Renewal was on the May 4, 2010 ballot in the Onsted school district, along with six other districts, which are in Lenawee County.

All seven districts approved this renewal measure.
Onsted:

  • YES 1,015 (68.95%) Approveda
  • NO 457 (31.05%)[1]

The Onsted measure sought to renew the 18 mill tax that is in place on non primary residential property. The money generated from this tax accounts for nearly 15 percent of the annual school budget and officials hope that renewal will be an easy pass.[2]

The county had six other school districts asking for the same renewal; Addison, Britton-Macon, Clinton, Deerfield, Madison and Morenci.[3]
